I want to share this great business idea with everyone. Here is the new trend for Internet marketing: WordPress Blogs. Forget about making a website the HTML old fashioned way.

If you were to go around and interview or ask the average local business in your town or city, (or what I call the real world,) you would find that many of them don’t even have a website. (To me that seems stone age.) Perhaps it is because they still have the notion, that they don’t have the computer skills to manage it and they think it would cost a fortune to pay someone to build their site and keep it updated.

I have set up a few websites for local businesses in my home town and I had a small web hosting site as a reseller through Hostgator. Yet I felt I failed my client’s because their site just basically sat there not getting any traffic. It did not help their business much at all. Then, they had to pay me to update it because they did not know how to do all of that. I did not charge much to update it, so I certainly was not making a living at it. It was just becoming a burden and a distraction from my other projects. It was becoming something I did not want to continue. I also did not want the job of buying pay per click ads for them, and I had not yet learned to do that without loosing money anyway, so that was not an option I had even considered.

Many real world? business owners can’t imagine how a website might help their business but I can see how it is essential for them to get one if they want to keep their business afloat. They just don’t realize how crucial it is. That is the problem. They need help to doing this.

If you look at most large corporations, they all have websites. Often their websites are huge unproductive and horrible sites. They got them because they knew they needed to have a presence on the Internet, even if they were not actually selling anything over the Internet.

The small business community is the untapped market in dire need of help. There is a growing need for people who can show small business owners how to blog about their products. It is virtually a market that is untapped. It puts the power in the hands of the small business owner.

Blogs can be set up to look just like any other website, and yet a business owner can log in and post about their product or whatever with no knowledge of HTML. They just need a little training on how to blog.

All a person has to know is how to register a domain name, then go into the Cpanel and with a few clicks set up a blog. Word press themes are free. If you can do this, you can help small business owners get their site up and running.
