Russel Brunson and the 20 minute payday.
I don’t think Russel Brunson is on the level selling his course 20minutepaday for $37.00 that he implies can make money for spending less that 20 minutes per day.
In this day a course for $37.00 would seem to be a fantastic deal and a drop in the bucket, so why wouldn’t I pop for $37.00? It’s guaranteed after all, if you don’t like it in 60 days you can get your money back.
I will tell you why. I have seen some of his seminars. He is all about hook and bait. You can bet this $37.00 course is the bait to some very expensive up-sale products that will come later.
If you go to his website about the 20 minute payday you will find that it begins with a long video of him talking very fast about what he is selling. (Much too fast in my opinion.) It just seems like a very rehersed canned sales pitch. Sure, he’s young, he’s rich and successful.
That is no reason to kiss his robe.
If you want to pause the video just click on it and it will stop. The pause controls are not visible. Even so, it was using a lot of space resources on my computer and freezing it up. (Yes I need more RAM.) His video will start downloading and playing automatically when you get to the page.
I don’t like videos that start automatically. Russel Brunson reminds me of a fast talking salesman who has his foot in the door and won’t take it out. Then, when you click to the back button or try to close it out, up pops that familiar little window asking you if you are sure you want to leave. Then you have to pick a response button to get the page to close. Your choices are: Stay on this page or Leave this page. These annoying little devils are turning up all over the place. I hate them.
The most insulting part about this pop up window is that it says “Don’t worry we aren’t trying to sell you anything right now. I just wanted to show you a FREE video that will reveal how you can make MORE money with a LOT less time! Just click on cancel now to watch the full video 100% free!”
Well that is just insulting to my intelligence. It is more like he is cramming his free video down my throat when it starts automatically, has no controls and you get a pop-up window saying WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! WAIT !WAIT!
There are certain guru’s of whom I will automatically reject anything they promote or sell simply just because I don’t trust them. I’m not saying that they are criminals but I think they are more after a quick buck than they are helpful. Russel Brunson is one of them. I unsubscribed to all his lists months ago but once in a while one of my “trusted” gurus sends me some promotion for him or some other “banned” guru that I don’t like. When they do that, guess what? I unsubscribe from THEIR lists too.
Yes Russel’s bold, and he puts his face out there for all to see, and he follows the rules. (I’m not saying that he is stupid.) He thinks this makes him appear trust worthy. I’m sorry, it isn’t working for me.
This is not a review of his $37.00 product.
I would not spend my money for it or waste my time on it. This particular guru review is not about his product, it is about him. I don’t know him personally either, this is just my impression of him from watching some seminars he has been involved in and observing how he pushes his products.
I don’t worry, this review is not going to effect Russel Brunson?in the least because nobody reads this blog anyway. Besides its just my opinion. If you think he can show you how to get rich, then go for it.
But if by some miracle he would want me to actually review his $37.00 product (called the 20 minute payday, at 20minutepayday dot com,) then he will have to send it to me for free and pay me $125.00 to do a real honest review. That does not mean that I will start singing his praises and kissing his robe either, unless of course he is the wonder guru he claims to be and manages to help me become rich working 20 minutes a day.
I don’t do these reviews to promote people nor do I make any money at it. I don’t even make any money on any of the products that I promote on this site. Not that I don’t try. I am an affiliate for the products I promote on this site, its just that nobody buys them.
That is because this blog is still very obscure. If you happen to run across it, I’m glad you took the time to read this.
I would not promote any products on this site I did not think were interesting and valuable. Of course I’m not responsible for anything that shows up in the google adsense ads. They pick those, I don’t.
